Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, India – The grand inauguration of VinFast’s electric vehicle manufacturing plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, marked not only a historic milestone for Vietnam’s automotive industry but also a significant step forward for Tan Phat ETEK. As the supplier of the automotive painting line, Tan Phat ETEK has officially brought Vietnamese technology to the global stage, reinforcing its ambitious “Go Global” strategy.
The VinFast Tamil Nadu factory, the fifth facility in VinFast’s global network, spans 160 hectares with an investment of USD 2 billion. It is among the largest EV manufacturing projects in the region, equipped with highly automated, world-class production lines.
