Tan Phat ETEK: Elevating manufacturing with modern automation systems
In this key project, Tan Phat ETEK has implemented two core automation systems, contributing to the optimization of production processes and enhancing the operational efficiency of the VinFast Vung Ang plant:
- Automatic painting line: This is the heart of the vehicle surface finishing process. Tan Phat ETEK has equipped advanced robotic painting technology, combined with clean standard paint booths, along with modern drying and exhaust treatment systems. This solution not only optimizes productivity but also ensures a uniform paint surface quality, minimizes paint defects, and delivers a flawless finish for VinFast electric vehicles.
- Automatic logistics system: To ensure a smooth and efficient material flow, Tan Phat ETEK has provided an automated logistics system that includes AGV/AMR autonomous vehicles for in-plant transportation and a pick-to-light system. This system optimizes transportation flows, minimizes waiting time, reduces operating costs, and shortens searching and delivery time between production stages, creating a seamless manufacturing line.
The systems provided by Tan Phat ETEK are designed in accordance with international standards, with a strong focus on flexibility, scalability, easy upgrades, and integrated data management. This establishes a solid foundation for VinFast to operate with stability and efficiency, aligning with the long-term vision of green, smart, and sustainable industrial development.

Speaking at the landmark event, Mr. Vo Trong Hai – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee – extended his congratulations and highly appreciated the role and contributions of the VinFast Vũng Áng plant to the province’s economic and social development and stability. He emphasized: “The inauguration of the VinFast electric vehicle manufacturing plant today affirms Vingroup’s strategic vision in developing smart electric vehicle brands in particular, and the maturity of Vietnamese enterprises in general, in the era of green industry and digital transformation. This is not only a miracle in terms of progress but also a vivid testament to the spirit of ‘thinking big – acting fast – delivering real results,’ reflecting the strong determination of Vingroup.”
On behalf of Vingroup, Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang – Vice Chairman and CEO – also shared the significance of this event: “The inauguration of the VinFast Vung Ang plant is an important milestone in VinFast’s long-term development strategy and global production expansion. Once in operation, the plant will contribute to VinFast’s goal of producing 1 million vehicles per year to meet the growing demand in both domestic and international markets. This is also a clear testament to VinFast’s technological mastery, production autonomy, and pioneering vision in driving the trend of sustainable transportation in Vietnam and around the world.”
